ONLINE COUNSELING
Online counseling is a convenient and confidential form of
counseling through email or in a private online chat format (instant
messaging) with a Christian Counselor.
E-MAIL COUNSELING
Email counseling is an exchange of information through emails.
We can email back and forth until the total minutes you have paid
for is used. The fee is based upon the time it takes me to
read your email and respond back. For some people that may be
several emails, while others, depending on the length of their
emails, may be only 1 or 2 email exchanges. To begin email
counseling, you must read the Client-Counselor
Consent Form carefully and then complete the Counseling
Questionnaire and submit it. There is not a fee for
submitting the Counseling Questionnaire. After receiving your
completed questionnaire, I will contact you be email, usually within
24-48 hours. If I feel that I can help you and that you are an
appropriate candidate for working with me online, we will begin
email counseling after I've received payment

ONLINE CHAT COUNSELING
This is a keyboard conversation that takes place in "real
time" via "instant messenger"
(download Microsoft Instant Messenger
here) in a private chat room between client and therapist.
When
the client types out a sentence and presses "enter", the
message appears instantaneously on the therapists screen, and
vice-versa. To begin online chat counseling, you must read the
Client-Counselor
Consent Form
carefully and then complete the Counseling
Questionnaire and submit it back to me. There is
not a fee for submitting the Counseling Questionnaire. After
receiving your completed questionnaire, I will contact you be email,
usually within 24-48 hours. If I feel that I can help you and
that you are an appropriate candidate for working with me online, we
will set up an appointment after I've received payment
for the chat
counseling session. Online chat counseling is paid for in
advance when the appointment is made.
50-min/online chat counseling session - $50
30-min/online chat counseling session - $30
Please note: Online counseling is not covered at present
by health insurance plans. However, some medical expenses can be
deducted from your taxes, depending on the laws in your state.
